Style Supply Co finds brick and mortar home

Wodonga’s central business district will soon be home to a one-stop-shop for women’s fashion, accessories, gifts and babywear.

Well-known Wodonga businesswoman Amanda Kotzur is renovating the old butcher shop at 110 High St where she plans to move her online Facebook business, Style Supply Co.

Mrs Kotzur said her customer base was strong after almost three years in business and sales had increased during the pandemic.

“I’m a big believer in customer service and I think shopping in physical stores is making a comeback,” she said.

“It’s all about the experience and being able to touch and try on clothes.

“Women like to try on clothes and shop with friends where they can get their opinion.”

Mrs Kotzur has big plans for her store.

“I want to delve into homewares as well so it will be a one-stop shop for women looking for gifts or that something special for their home,” she said.

The store, complete with polished concrete flooring, will feature larger fitting rooms and spacious areas for easy moveability for mums with prams.

A big drawcard will be a weatherboard cubby house inside the store.

Mrs Kotzur said choosing this side of the border for the store was an easy decision.

“Wodonga’s main street has been upgraded and looks fantastic so it’s about giving Wodonga a shopping heart,” she said.

The store is expected to open in September.
